Initial problem

At the time, the website's purpose was to showcase Typedream's main value proposition: a no-code website builder that feels like Notion.


We were focused on attracting Notion users and had gained a lot of traction from there. Therefore, the website included a lot of information referencing Notion, such as "Notion-like interface" and "Connect to Notion."

I drew inspiration from other web builders, most of which have bold colors and a techy feel, like Framer and Webflow. We aimed to blend in with them while also incorporating a clean and minimalist design style that emphasizes our simplicity.

Why we changed?

Fast forward, we have developed many products at Typedream. Users can set up forms, payments, and blogs, our latest addition is the card-based link-in-bio feature, which is not limited to website building.

We are also now focusing more on creators, offering them a toolbox to meet all of their needs. This states that our old website is no longer relevant to our current product offer and targets. We need to freshen up our website.

To create a more welcoming atmosphere for creators, I incorporated softer colors in the design and utilized Apple's emojis to convey a more personable vibe.

We have five different products, each with its own unique features to showcase. To effectively, efficiently, and beautifully package this information, I drew inspiration from the bento cards used on Amie and Apple's websites. 5 different colors are introduced for each product
